Puppy Kindergarten 

Pawfection Puppy Kindergarten offers a structured program designed to support new puppy owners in fostering a positive and respectful relationship with their puppies. This program is designed for puppies aged 8 weeks to 5 months and is strongly advised to start as soon as the puppy is brought home. 

House training __ Socialization with various stimuli and City Life __ Successful veterinary and grooming visits (Cooperative Cares) __ Life Skill Cues __ Enrichment Activities __ Crate Training __ Strategies For Managing Typical Puppy Behaviours 

SUCH AS: Barking, Chewing, Jumping, and Nipping.

The program is centred on the specific life stage of the canine puppy and its developmental phases, incorporating a thorough understanding of the breed's genetic characteristics. Participants will also gain insight into canine body language, equipping them with the tools to raise a well-rounded and confident dog. The program concludes with a graduation celebration featuring a diploma and a gift, emphasizing the importance of early training in setting puppies up for long-term success. The program begins with a 90-minute initial session followed by five one-hour sessions and is priced at $650 before tax. 

             Essential Life Skills Training

Pawfection Training provides a structured six-week program aimed at equipping dogs and their guardians with essential life skills while promoting their growth into well-adjusted and confident companions. Through guided sessions and personalized support, dogs develop a strong foundation of skills and trust. This program is specifically designed for adolescent dogs (aged 5 months to 1.5 years), those without prior training, or individuals with some training but challenges in managing distractions. Participants will acquire key life skills, such as:

  • Foundational Commands: Sit (with duration), Down (with duration), Stand (with duration).

  • Focus and Attention on the owner.

  • Impulse Control in contexts involving objects or excitement.

  • Loose-Leash and Heel Walking.

  • Stationary Stay amidst distractions.

  • Recall when called.

 

The program also highlights the importance of understanding canine body language to improve communication, foster the human-canine bond through mutual respect and trust, and consider the breed's genetic predispositions. Upon program completion in the sixth session, dogs receive a graduation diploma and a special gift. The program begins with a 90-minute initial session followed by five one-hour sessions and is priced at $775 before tax. This represents an opportunity to initiate your dog's transformative journey.
